Some kids had home videos. I had a full-blown highlight reel.
Growing up, my dad was always behind the camcorder—birthdays, beach vacations, soccer games, even the quiet, ordinary moments. Watching those tapes now feels like time travel. The sound of my laugh, the voices of family members, little pieces of my childhood I would’ve otherwise forgotten... it all made me realize something early on: film has the power to bring moments back to life.
Fast forward to 2021. After graduating college and working as an auditor, I found myself craving something more creative—and something that gave me the flexibility I needed as I started my own family. Now, 5 years later, I have the privilege of juggling a toddler, a baby, and running a business I genuinely love.
Today, I’m the owner and lead filmmaker behind Sullins Film & Photo, where I get to tell love stories for a living—and that still blows my mind.
My approach to storytelling is quiet and intentional. I don’t direct or manufacture moments—I observe them as they naturally unfold. Whether it’s a soft glance, a shaky inhale before vows, or the way your parents hold hands during the ceremony.
I believe those in-between moments are what make your story truly yours. I let the day breathe, allowing space for emotion, movement, and meaning. Paired with a beautifully curated soundtrack, each film becomes more than a recap—it becomes a piece of art that feels as personal as the day itself.
